This procedure has two levels associated with it, a specialized laser-assisted liposuction treatment as well as the laser skin tightening. The two levels work together to remove excess fat from the face and tighten the skin around the face in the same appointment.
Laser-assisted lipo targets the fat and melts it, making it easier to suck out. This is in contrast to traditional lipo which is more invasive. Then, with the fat around the face removed, the skin-tightening laser is brought in to tighten the loose skin where the fat previously was. It’s a double-dose of treatment!
One of the best parts about the PrecisionTx™ is that after a single, hour-long treatment, patients can achieve dramatic skin tightening results. These changes can be seen immediately, but usually take between 3-6 months to reach their fullest potential.
While downtime is minimal, patients do experience a degree of swelling because of the intensity of the radiofrequency energy. This swelling gradually subsides in the weeks and months following treatment.
