Venus Freeze Cellulite Treatments
March 9, 2015
A newer treatment is called the Venus Freeze. The primary purpose of this procedure is skin tightening. It’ also been shown to be effective for reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It’s also capable of reducing the appearance of stubborn cellulite while firming and tightening skin.
The Venus Freeze procedure is noninvasive and has the potential to give you a younger looking appearance. During the Venus Freeze procedure, a special device is used, which utilizes magnetic pulsed fields and multi-polar radio frequency to tighten the skin. The end result is a concentrated type of heat, which penetrates deep within your skin. This stimulates collagen production while improving blood flow to break down your existing fat cells.
The Venus Freeze treatment has a unique therapeutic dispersion, so it’s able to reach problematic cells, which are located deep in the skin or near the surface. Venus Freeze is able to provide results that other procedures cannot provide. There is zero pain associated with the procedure, and most patients report feeling a warm sensation as they fall asleep.
If you’re struggling with stubborn fat or cellulite that exercise and diet haven’t been able to remedy, then Venus Freeze could be right for you. Performed right in our Rockford office, Venus Freeze treatments can help tighten your skin to reveal a smoother, suppler appearance. How Does It Work?
Although it might sound complicated, Venus Freeze is easy to understand. The treatment consists of magnetic pulsed fields and multi-polar radio frequency.
The radio frequency produced by the device produces a thermal reaction inside of the target area. The reaction causes the body to initiate its natural healing response. The response causes new collagen to form, and new elastin fibers are also created. The process causes active collagen inside of skin to contract, which makes skin look and feel tighter.
The actual procedure is nothing to be scared of. It involves the patient lying down inside of the treatment room. Gel is applied to the skin on the target areas.
There are no active ingredients inside of the gel, and the purpose of the gel is to make it easier for the treatment device to move smoothly and evenly across skin.
During the procedure, the device is moved across the target areas. Many patients say the procedure feels a lot like getting a massage. Most facial treatments don’t take longer than 15 minutes, and body treatments are finished in about 45 minutes.
Are You A Candidate?
If you’re an adult, and you’re interested in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and tightening your skin, then you’re a candidate for this procedure.
Venus Freeze has been shown to improve body contouring while decreasing cellulite. It’s a very effective procedure for the neck and face, but it also works very well on the body. It’s frequently used as an alternative to liposuction.
Currently, there are no known side effects for the procedure, and there is no required recovery time. Venus Freeze is effective for all ethnic backgrounds and skin types. To maintain the results, occasional maintenance treatments are required. Some patients have reported pinkness and warmth around treated areas, but these effects usually go away within two hours.
